Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to ship my order?

Every Organic Swing is made-to-order by hand in Kansas City, Missouri and requires 6-8 weeks to be built prior to shipment.

At this time, we ship to the United States and Canada.

Shipping is 100% free in the continental U.S.A. with a typical transit time of 3-7 days (calculated after production time).

We  offer shipping to Canada for $149 per swing with transit times ranging from 7-21 days. We also ship to Alaska and Hawaii for $199 per swing with a typical transit time of 7-14 days.

Do you use real wood?

Yes! We don’t use fake, cheap, engineered products pretending to be wood.  Our swings are made with hardwearing cypress wood, cut from a real cypress tree.

How should I mount my swing?

We recommend professional installation, mounting the swing from two points, spaced a minimum of 64” apart. Mounting hardware should have an adequate working load specified by the manufacturer. If you’d like us to customize your cable length for a specific height mount, please include the ceiling height and any other details in your notes at checkout, or contact us first at info@organicswings.com.

Does the swing require any maintenance?

We recommend periodically applying an oil-based sealer with UV protection to the wood, as wood will naturally fade and dry when exposed to the sun.  The sealer can be wiped onto the wood over the existing layer.  That’s it!

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes!  Please contact info@organicswings.com for wholesale purchase inquiries.  We offer a variety of wholesale purchase options.

Why don’t you offer custom wood stain colors?

We offer Natural Cypress and Dark Walnut finishes. These cover the majority of customer needs, and focus allows us to ensure we deliver an excellent finish, every time.

How much weight will your swing support?

Our swings are designed to safely support a working load limit of 600 lbs.
